Community Screening in Dayton
GOAL:
Bring together the community of Dayton, Ohio to watch American Factory, have a discussion, and celebrate the launch!

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:
- More than 1,000 people came together to watch American Factory
- After the screening, the filmmakers shared their experience making the film and took questions directly from the audience
- A Chinese worker who was at Fuyao during the union election depicted in the film stood up during the Q&A and called the American workers brave for standing up for what they believed in
- Another member of the audience remarked that the film is an important reminder of the values that unite all of us
- The story in AMERICAN FACTORY has its roots in Dayton, but it’s one that’s playing out in communities all across the country, and the world
- The audience was asked to join the national conversation and impact campaign by posting on social using #americanfactory and text “WORKERS” to 40649.
